Being unable to ignore the "helper" without repercussions, I made the decision to document the situation in an email to my supervisor and resolve the issue for the customer anyway (as was my job in the first place) and the supervisor claimed I was in the wrong for not doing what the "helper" said, despite them eventually admitting that they were wrong about the situation. If you are selected to interview, ask your recruiter how long they have been at ABC. This isnt necessarily bad, but shows how little ABC values experience. ![]() The last straw for me was when one of them caused me to spend over a half-hour beyond my scheduled shift on a call simply because the "helper" misheard what the issue was. - Most of upper management has been replaced in the last few years. Beyond that, there is a team of individuals who spend their day fielding questions from the agents on the floor, but unfortunately the majority of them seem to have landed in the position due to connections to the superiors, as they are unable to assist nine times out of ten. Asking a sup that isn't *your* sup even a general question is often met with attitude and directions to ask *your* supervisor when they're available.
